Resource Maps

*All resources listed offer services for young children (birth-age 5).
Our resource maps use a cluster feature to mark the resources in given areas. Here are some guidelines for using our maps.
  • Click on the map of your choice below.
  • In the topic box on the right, check the types of resources you are looking for. You can make the topic box disappear so that it does not obstruct your view by clicking on the minus sign next to the title (-).
  • Use the scroll button on your mouse to zoom in to the area of Mississippi that you are interested in.
  • The maps show the number of resources clustered in given areas. As you zoom into a smaller location, the cluster of resources will begin to spread out into smaller clusters. You can continue zooming until they are singular, or you can click on the numbers, and they will separate. Eventually, you will be able to isolate and click on individual resources to obtain the information you need.
  • From a smartphone or touch screen, zoom into the area of interest by spreading two fingers apart on the screen. Zoom out by pinching two fingers together on the screen. To use the map search feature (magnifying glass on the right of the maps), first check the type of resource you are looking for in the topic box on the right side of the map. Then, click the magnifying glass on the left side of the map. Enter the specific name of the resource you are looking for.
